Summer Job

I've been working all summer at a school uniform shop in Worcester! It's definitely been an experience. Yet I have loved every minute of it, the girls I have worked with have all been amazing and definitely made the summer one to remember. We have had some good laughs and have always been there to help and support each other, it's going to be odd not seeing them every day and not having to work. But now it's time to go back to uni for another academic year full of fun, laughter and assignments. One thing I can take away from this summer is the new friendships that I have made and the fact that if I see I school child I can automatically say what there uniform is and the price!which isn't that good of a thing but it's entertaining 😂

Hey everyone!!

How are you all?

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while I've been working a full time job this summer as well as trying to have a social life and trying to get everything organised for going back to university at the end of september and of course FIJI next summer!

This is going to be a serious blog today, recently I have totally left my healthy lifestyle behind, I have began eating awful foods for the convenience also I haven't had the chance to exercise properly for quite awhile. (my job does involve running up and down stairs and around like a crazy person for 8 hours a day) but it hasn't stopped my from gaining weight unfortunately.

I have become so unhappy with my body and am now in a size 12 clothes which is awful and slightly embarrassing as I have never been above a 10 before. My aim is to get down 3 stone and back down to a size 8 for next summer.

My decision of my goals is not just for vanity but also for confidence, I feels so ashamed and self conscious of myself when I am this size, even though I know I am not big but I am just uncomfortable and constantly seeing my flaws and comparing myself to everyone else I see.

Sorry I am going to stop the moaning and depressing blog now and tell you a bit more about myself...

I am hoping to travel a lot over the next few years so I am hoping to make this blog partly a travel blog as well as a healthy and lifestyle blog, letting you know all about my adventures and aspirations. I am also contemplation a travel vlog on youtube but i haven't quite made my mind up about that yet.

Story time

Bula (welcome in Fijian)

This blog represents me, to start i will let you know a little bit about myself.  I am 19 years old and live in Worcester in the United Kingdom. I study early childhood studies at Birmingham City university, I am not sure what I want to do after university yet but I know I want to help children, I want to be able to help them live their lives to the full, teaching them to love themselves for what they are. I'm considering play therapy or child psychology at the moment but I'm just going to go with the flow and figure it out a bit further down the path.

I have a serious coffee and shopping addiction but fairly what teenage girl doesn't?!  I love my family and they mean the world to me including my Jack Russell cross breed Scamp, who is a little 'devil' but he is my best friend. I have a serious case of wanderlust and would do anything to suddenly have enough money to pack my bags and leave for a world wide adventure. Me and my best friend (no not my dog, she is actually a real person named Ellie and we have been best friends since we were 4!) we are in the midst of planning several adventures for the summer of 2016 when we are supposed to be graduating (fingers crossed).

I have recently found out that I have been accepted on to a program which will allow me to volunteer in a range of orphanages and kindergartens in FIJI next summer!! I am so excited so expect several posts solely dedicated to planning my upcoming travels. Ahhhhhhhh I'm so excited I can't believe it's a year away but it will give me plenty of time to plan and fundraise some money towards it. I'm telling you now, fiji isn't cheap but at least it will be worth it!!
